The price of a taxi increases in heavy traffic, since if the car is stationary, it then clocks “waiting time.” It would most likely be around £10 in the daytime. You are far better going to the tube station at King’s Cross (next door to St Pancras) and take the Northern Line to London Bridge. You can get a tube/bus/rail ticket for the day, or for the week, and public transport is cheap in London thanks to the gloriously socialist mayor.

As others have depends on time of day, traffic etc but probably around £20-30. I’d advise you to get the underground as it will cost a lot less

The people here are not joking – you’d be shocked at the cost if it’s a busy time of day. I took a taxi from Paddington to my hotel (I was staying near St Pauls) and it was over £20! Thank goodness work was paying.

If you can walk/skate – great, otherwise the Tube or buses are a good bet.
